Welcome to White Birch Carpentry

I was rather blessed to grow up in a family full of tradesmen, it truly helped me learn at a young age. I mean, you couldn't throw a wrench at a family reunion without hitting a contractor!  In the beginning, I learned simply through observation. My first, and most important teacher, was my father. What started as being a "helper" for a hard working electrician, turned into an interest for tools and building things with my own two hands. I loved seeing things come to life. During my early 20's I learned the sheet metal fabrication and welding trades. This quickly turned into general contracting and woodworking. As time went on, my attraction to older construction and finish carpentry grew into a passion and my thirst for learning this trade became somewhat of an obsession. This, combined with my attention to detail, is what drives me today. The completion of a challenging task is simply the best reward.
